Heart disease is the number one killer of women each year. Yet, many women do not understand their risk or realize how heart disease looks and feels different in women. Cardiovascular Institute of the South, Terrebonne General Health System, and The Foundation for Terrebonne General Health System understand the importance of awareness, prevention and education for women and heart disease. That's why we are proud to announce the return of Heels for Hearts: Women's Cardiac Wellness Social. Join us this International Women's Day (Wednesday, March 8th) from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at the Terrebonne General Medical Atrium Auditorium. This FREE evening event encourages women to get informed about their heart health and will include a Q&A session with a panel of physicians and wellness experts as well as a heart-healthy dinner, wine and signature cocktails, interactive games, door prizes and so much more!
