The Black is Beautiful initiative began as a collaborative effort amongst the brewing community and its customers, in an attempt to bring awareness to the injustices that many people of color face today. Marco Ortega, founder of Flagship Video Works, partnered with Get Creative SA to document the initiator of the movement, Marcus B. of Weathered Souls Brewing Co. After a productive year of rigorous productions, and with the help of ~12 media companies in San Antonio, the Black is Beautiful Short Film Documentary is ready to premiere in the heart of the city's business district at Legacy Park. Enjoy this FREE event as we invite the community to attend Legacy Park for Texas’ best BBQ, local craft beer, groovy beats, and - of course - the premiere of all of the collaborators' hard work as we air the film on an inflatable movie screen in the comfort of an urban amenity.
