Interestingly, the use of honey in magical and mystical rites is present in several magical traditions. Some ancient traditions actually used honey in the embalming process giving the substance strong ties to dead, while others included honey in offerings to various goddesses, usually ones presiding over beauty, love, and peace. Honey jar magic is a useful spell for any witch to have in their arsenal who wishes to sweeten another's disposition. This is used in many ways, such as for love, friendship, settling tempers, or to get that long awaited promotion. In this class, we'll review the impressive history of this spell and how it has evolved with witchcraft today. We will also, of course, be making our own honey jars. So come with a nasty person in mind who you might want to sweeten and be ready to get sticky for some good ol' fashioned magic.
