The Firing Foxes are a crew of 5 and 6 years old who attend Woodland Community School. Their most recent project based learning adventure, or 'Journey' as we call them at WCS was writing and publishing a book to help people everywhere practice calming strategies. Along their 'Journey' the Firing Foxes met with local author Jeffery Zygmont, learned about and practiced the writing process, studied mentor texts, and worked to develop their own emotional intelligence. Please join us in the Littleton Food Co-op Cafe as we hear the Woodland Community School student authors read their book Berry and Mousie's Adventurous Day. They will also share calming strategies to help get through difficult situations.
