The Way We Grieve: Death of a loved one, divorce, violence across our community, and even the pandemic has changed the way we grieve. Join us as at "The Park" as Dr. Tonya Cunningham "The Grief Doc" leads this powerful workshop. You will be trained on the many different ways that we experience grief. Learn how to unbox your pain and process your loss. Our goal is to equip you and provide resources that will bring transformation to your life. Dr. Tonya Cunningham is a Certified Life Coach, Grief Counselor, Author, and Speaker with emphasis on loss and inner healing. She encourages people to build a ‘new’ life after a traumatic event has destroyed the life they once knew. Tonya educates others of the importance of doing their grief work and caring for their mental health. College Park Baptist Church is a training ground where people from all walks of life can grow and be transformed. We equip people to seek the lost, strengthen the weak and bring reformation to our community and beyond. "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18. Workshop Cost - Lunch IncludedWe are receiving a donation of $25 per person to attend the workshop. For those who can make a donation, choose "Pay At The Door." This will inform us that you will be paying the cost of your registration on site at College Park. If you are unable to make a donation, please do not let that prevent you from attending.
