Description

Spend a day in collaboration with the SDE and fellow educators of multilingual learners. The objective of this training is as follows: 1. Emphasize the asset-based approach and belief system that underscores the cultural and social assets of multilingual learners. 2. Develop a collective understanding of the WIDA framework and its connection to standards. 3. Collaborate and reflect with fellow colleagues when planning integrated content and language instruction. The SDE will provide all materials needed for the training. Lunch will be on your own. This is a repeated session from Day 1 of last year's English Learner Institute.
