Communication: The Mission Piece with Steve and Debbie Wilson February 24th 7:00 PM-9:30 PM & February 25th 9:00 AM-Noon Eastside Baptist-Shelby is excited to welcome Steve and Debbie Wilson back for a Two-Day Conference entitled Communication: The Missing Piece. Who should attend? Everyone who communicates with others within a relationship. This is NOT simply a Marriage Conference. This confernce is for Parents, Grandparents, Husbands and Wives, Mature Children, Boyfriends, Girlfriends, and Friends in general. Really, God will speak to everyone who attends this conference, therefore THIS CONFERENCE IS FOR YOU! This event will officially begin Friday, February 24th at 7:00 PM and will end no later than 9:30 PM. A light pick-up supper will be provided in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 6:15 PM. Then on Saturday, February, 25th, the confernce will resume at 9:00 AM and will conclude by Noon. A Continental Breakfast will be provided beginning at 8:30 AM. Anything great costs us something, and we have set the Resgistration Fee for this conference at $20 per person. This by no means will cover the expenses of the confernce, so the purpose of this fee is for you to tell us you plan to attend and for you to have a little investment in it. We hope that friends from other churchs will register and attend, but we would love for all of Eastside to attend. And since we want everyone from Eastside to attend, we are offering a special deal for Eastside Members. If you Register by paying the Registration Fee, we will Refund you Registration if you attend the conference on Friday and Saturday. If you don't attend, the conference then there will not be a refund. We really want you to come and experince this conference because we believe it will be life-changing if you apply it to your relationships. How to Register? Yes, childcare will be provided for children Kindergarten and Under, however we need you to help us out. If you need childcare, please contact the church office when you register at (704)487-9682 to let us know your name, the kid(s) name and age. This will help us be prepared to take care of your children. A Little Info about Steve and Debbie: Steve and Debbie Wilson are the founders of Marriage Matters Now, Inc, which is a non-profit, 501c(3), Marriage Ministry devoted toward impacting marriages across the world. Steve and Debbie are passionate about seeing marriages and families become all that Jesus desires for them to be. God has entrusted them with an amazing privilege to touch thousands of lives and enrich countless marriages. Steve and Debbie have been married for 44 years, (they met in college and married after Steve was at his first church) and are committed to continuously working on their marriage so that they may share their experiences with others. They have 3 children, Josh married to Leigh, Jordan married to Candace and Janae married to Kenny. They have six grandchildren, Morgan, Emmett, Hudson, Harper, Harlow and Walker. Steve holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from William Jewel College and a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University. Steve spent sixteen years as a Youth Pastor before making the transition to Associate Pastor of Marriage and Family, where he served for fourteen years. Debbie holds a B.A. degree in Counseling from Baylor University/Louisiana Baptist University. Steve and Debbie travel the country leading conferences on Marriage, Parenting, Relationships, as well as women’s and men’s conferences and retreats. They have an incredible passion to see people, marriages and families reach their full potential and experience a rewarding and enriched life in the Lord. Steve has been on staff of Southern Baptist churches for 30 years. They have been leading Marriage Conferences full time for the last 16 years.
