With recent changes to environmental regulations, state standards and permits required to meet challenging job sites, it can feel like large amounts of paper work and a confusing mess. Lancaster County is a hot spot for agriculture and conservation work with demand growing more every day. That means more demand and more business for you as a contractor! This event is a great opportunity to be among peers and learn how to navigate the current funding sources and to simplify project management so you can be at the top of the game. A few event highlights include: Meet the conservation leads in Lancaster County so you can grow your contracting business!NPDES, Stormwater, Safety, & Quality AssuranceWhat a contractor should know about why and how planners design things the way we do $5 million+ is coming to Lancaster every year for the next few years specifically for agriculture conservation work. Hear how you can be part of that to effectively address landowner demands AND local goals.Places that Lancaster monitors local water quality to show that your work is improving our creeks and supporting landowners' bottom lines. Cleaner water means more hunting and fishing too!Forward and bundled contracting opportunitiesCooperatives projects can often have challenges, but they end in bigger results. This meeting will be mutually beneficial to all companies and will continue a long-term working relationship with private agriculture consultants, NRCS, and the Conservation District.
