Percy Child (they/he) is a transmasculine educator and advocate based in South Shore MA. During their time as a student at Mount Holyoke College, they worked as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion fellow, going on to receive the 2021 H. Elizabeth Braun Catalyst for Change Award in recognition of their work advocating for the transgender community. Since his graduation in 2021, Percy has been committed to bringing conversations around transgender allyship to the forefront in his hometown of East Bridgewater and the surrounding communities. He has facilitated educational programs with the East Bridgewater Public Library, the Turner Free Library (Randolph, MA), First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church (Bridgewater, MA), and Bridgewater Communities for Civil Rights. Percy is an aspiring librarian on staff at Bridgewater State University, and he is passionate about bringing accessible information about the transgender community to diverse audiences.
