PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING TICKET Classes cover basic wheel-throwing and decorative techniques, and are appropriate for ages 14 and up. We offer different classes that are suited for beginner, intermediate and advanced throwers; allowing intermediate and advanced students the opportunity to pursue their interests with guidance if needed. Classes sizes are limited to ensure each student gets ample instruction. Classes include everything you need to start making pottery: group instruction, a 25 lb bag of stoneware clay, tools, glazes, storage, and firings. All firing and finishing costs are included in price.   ***THE YOUTH WEDNESDAY CLASS IS INTENDED FOR YOUTH OR FAMILY'S. THE PRICE REFLECTS THE 2HOUR CLASS VS. THE 2.5 HOUR LONG CLASS*** ***THE THURSDAY INTERMEDIATE CLASS IS INTENDED FOR MORE EXPERIENCED POTTERS WHO SHOULD BE ABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY do the following: Center 2+ pounds of clay on the pottery wheel independentlyWedge clay, trim leather hard work, and fully glaze bisque ware on your ownHave a strong understanding of the ins and outs of ceramics/have taken an educational pottery class prior ( one time workshops or dates nights do not meet this requirement). PLEASE feel free to email the studio to ask further details if you are questioning your skill level, we would love to find the best fit for you. We do reach out via phone to new students enrolled in this class to double check their skills meet our requirements.  Our no refund/ transfer policy still stands if you decide to take our intermediate/youth class without meeting the qualifications!*** Each course is 7 sessions, taking place ONCE a week, studio time is limited to class hours only to ensure instructor supervision. Once a foundation of ceramics is built membership options are available for additional studio time. This Session's Class Schedule: MONDAY NIGHT: Feb 27th - April 10th 6:30PM-9:00PM TUESDAY MORNING: Feb 28th - April 11th 10:00AM - 12:30PM TUESDAY NIGHT: Feb 28th - April 11th 10:00AM - 12:30PM YOUTH WEDNESDAY NIGHT: March 1st - April 12th 6:30-8:30PM INTERMEDIATE THURSDAY NIGHT: March 2nd - April 13th 6:30PM-9:00PM SATURDAY MORNING: March 4th - April 15th 10:00AM-12:30PM SUNDAY MORNING: March 5th - April 16th 10:00AM - 12:30PM (no class on Easter 4/9, class cost has been adjusted) There will be no makeup classes for inclement weather; we will send out an email for cancellations and/or phone calling if requested. We ask that you please sign up for the class, through Eventbrite. We ask that you do not try to avoid the Eventbrite fee, as they are our host-we will not hold spots over the phone or email in advance. ***Please note that using the pottery wheel requires some physical strength and control which may not be suitable to all individuals. The multistep process also requires critical thinking, attention, and memory.
