Homelessness is something that effects us all whether you know someone personally, your business is impacted, or you're just disappointed in the lack of solution in Kern County. If you're already a part of a group that is working towards solutions or are looking to be apart of one we hope that you will join us to hear from Alan Graham, Author, CEO and Founder of Mobile Loaves and Fishes from Austin, TX. His unique approach to bringing change to our homeless neighbors could be that solution that we have been looking for. He has succesfully provided permanent, sustainable solutions for the chronically homesless while surrounding them with compassion, love and dignity. It is Hope Community Village's goal to bring this model to Bakersfield. As Alan points out housing will not fix homelesness, but community will.
