Did you know 1 in every 4 people die of Heart Disease? Did you know your heart is the hardest working organ in your body? According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, African-American males and females are 30% more likely to die from heart disease than non-Hispanic whites. As a way to spread awareness amongst men and women, we are hosting a spin class and health fair. We will promote Heart Health Awareness and educate participants by sharing valuable information and resources. Come learn about the symptoms of and how to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease during our health fair. Join the fun with our " Take it to Heart " and "GO Red" spin bike decorating competition. Bring your Red decorations to make one of our spin bikes your very own. Please arrive by 10:00am to participate in the bike decorating competition. We will have prayer, giveaways, food vendors, speakers and much, much more!
