Welcome! Let's chat about what we're planning for our gardens this year! How do we garden in ecologically friendly drought resistant ways? We'll discuss what native and exotic plants to include in our gardens, where to place them, what plants to partner them with, and how to care for them. Additionally we'll talk about how to harvest water by slowing the flow and capturing more rain and irrigation water. Finally we'll look at conventional and natural ways to deter deer, raccoons, rabbits, gophers, and other wildlife from harvesting all of our bounty, We'll meet in the stand of live oaks in my back yard assuming it's warm enough. If it's cold or windy we'll go in the studio.
