The SEMN Disaster Health Coalition has received a FIT Testing Train-the-Trainer Grant from MDH. Through the grant, the Coalition is offering trainers to conduct 2-hour FIT Testing Train-the-Trainer sessions. The intended audience are Skilled Nursing Facility staff; However, the training is open to all agencies. This training is offered at no cost to attendees! Part of the grant provides fit test kits to be handed out during the training. The grant now allows for every LTC agency to leave the training with a kit. Other agencies, although encouraged to attend, can not be provided a fit test kit under the terms of the grant. TICKET SALES END THREE DAYS PRIOR TO TRAINING! So get registered! ****************************************************************************************** Please be aware that fit testing must be part of a comprehensive program. It will be the responsibility of the participating facility/agency to develop and maintain a respiratory program that includes medical clearance and keeping records of training and clearance(s) in addition to fit testing staff.
