OLDPOSSUM Dart Tournament Rules Brewery 501 Players - 2 per board Numbers in Play - All numbers in play but 20 & 19 will get you to zero the fastest Rules - Each player starts with 501. The goal is to reach zero, exactly, by subtracting the amount you score in a turn from the number you have left. Both players will throw a single dart and the player that hits the higher number goes first. We will play straight in, double out. Meaning you start the game accumulating points but must finish the game by hitting a double to exactly zero (eg. you have 4 points remaining you must hit a double 2 to win the game). Hitting more points than you have left to get to zero will get you “busted” ending your "turn" (a "turn" is your three dart throws). Your next turn you will return to your previous score (in our example you would return to 4 points remaining). If both players end in a bust during an "inning" (an "inning" ends when the 2nd player has taken his turn). The score on a bust will return to it’s previous scores and their turn will not end. For example if you need a 4 and you hit a 5 with your first dart you may continue throwing your remaining darts to attempt to hit the double 2. Your turn does not immediately end. Matches - All matches will be Bo1, single elimination bracket. Grand Finals will be a Bo3.
