Field Service Technician (Eastern Nebraska) compensation: $20 per hour + mileage or flat rate (Tech's preference) employment type: contract job title: Field Service Technician Manufacturer of agricultural machinery needs field technician for Eastern Nebraska territory. Technician will maintain/service approximately 60-80 machines in the field. We will supply all parts/tools and training. Technician must have reliable transportation as they will drive to all units each unit an average of 3 times per year. All machines are serviced once in the Spring, once during Summer/use season and once before Winter sets in. We are looking for individuals that are detail oriented with a great personality and great communication skills. Applicants should have good troubleshooting skills, be detail oriented, able to work with hand tools, and be able to fill out paperwork effectively on provided tablet. This is an ideal job for someone looking for part-time work without Winter hours and a professional environment. This job is ideal for a retired/semi-retired technical person. Pay: $25,000-$30,000 per year based on supporting the minimum of 60 machines. This is based off of just few weeks of work per year. Actual number of days worked each year can vary but is typically between 40 and 60 actual days of work days. Corporate office located in Kansas City, Missouri.
