REGISTER FOR THE FIRST CLASS ON MARCH 1ST, FROM 6:00PM TO 7:30PM. THIS WILL TAKE CARE OF THE REST OF THE CLASSES. SECOND CLASS MARCH 6TH, AT THE CHEBOYGAN LIBRARY, FINAL CLASS IS AT THE CHEBOYGAN OPERA HOUSE MARCH 17TH, 6PM . THANK YOU. The class is designed for those who may have a fear, or be uncomfortable, about speaking in public. It will consist of three sessions with limited seating. The first class will be an orientation, some history, some examples of speaking techniques, and class involvement. Everyone will be speaking in the first class for at least 1 to 2 minutes, with notes if necessary, along with some role playing. Keep in mind, the class will be filled with likeminded individuals who feel the same way. Together, we're going to overcome all fear and have fun. The second session will consist of a 3 minutes speech, more techniques, more discussion, less notes if possible and just as much fun. The last class will take place at the Cheboygan Opera House where you will deliver your speech on stage. It will be Open to the Public, and everyone will deliver a 5 minutes speech minimum. Similar to a TED Talk speech. Notes are okay if necessary. The goal is to have fun, overcome fears, and develop self confidence and poise in communicating with others. It's going to be an absolute blast.
