Description

In partnership with Gem City Market's Black Future Month, we are discussing the history of food in Black culture. From gardening to visiting local markets and more. With the cost of foods rising and our health declining, how can we reclaim our traditions and make healthy/low cost food accessible to the people in our community? This communal event will have food, storytellers, and open conversation for everyone to participate! We are looking to the future and coming up with solutions for us to move into action! We're also giving away $15 grocery gift cards to the first 20 people that show up and there will be an opportunity for 1 person to win a $100 gift card towards Gem City Market groceries!
