After 23 years with the Texas Forest Service, Mark Peterson joined the San Antonio Water System in 2006 as the Project Coordinator in the Conservation Department. Since 2006, Mark has coordinated San Antonio Water System conservation programs pertaining to water & landscape conservation. Mark served as president of the Texas Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture from 2001-2002 and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Texas Forest Service in 2006.
