Monday, February 13, 4 pm Art Center College of Design LAT Media Center, Hillside Campus 1700 Lida St, Pasadena CA “Animation is Art on Film” ~ a presentation by Bob Kurtz Legendary animator Bob Kurtz writes, designs, and directs films and TV commercials for most major studios. As founder of the Burbank-based animation studio Kurtz & Friends, his numerous credits include main title animation for The Pink Panther and animated sequences for Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park and Minority Report. He’s also created interactive games for Disney and multi-media installations for Sony. “Bob Kurtz, through honesty and artistry, has kept our wonderful medium alive.” ~ Chuck Jones This event is free and open to the public.
