February Vacation Camp - Tuesday, February 21st through Friday, February 24th from 1:00-3:00. $25 for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday Thursday is FREE! Join our artists, makers and inventors at LaunchSpace for four days of STEAM maker fun! Tuesday: Pottery with Erica Goulding In this workshop we'll dig in to clay handbuilding and explore a variety of methods such as slabs and coils to create fun and useful items. Wednesday: Rube Goldberg Machines with Zach Katz  In this workshop, using recycled and salvaged materials we'll build an elaborate gravity powered group contraption.Thursday: Mechanical Linkages with Jay Mantika from Playful Engineers FREE! Join Playful Engineers at LaunchSpace for this FREE interactive engineering workshop! We'll make scissor, reverse and parallel motion linkages for mechanisms that send messages, tell stories or accomplish Friday: Fantastical Beasts - Painting with Gabriela Alcantara Can you imagine a striped lion with a horn and wings on his back or a cat with a whale's body? Join us for this fun and fantastical painting workshop. We'll set ourselves up in the painting studio, imagine animals of all kinds and learn how to paint their portrait. All materials are included, we just need you and your imagination.These workshops are designed for ages 8-12 years old. $25 for all three days of workshops.
