Press release from the Georgetown Business Improvement District: January 7, 2021 Thanks to all of our businesses who participated in our Georgetown Holiday Window & Streatery Competition, and to everyone who selected their favorite display! Congratulations to Violet Salon & Spa and Martin's Tavern for winning the People's Choice Award (via in-person, QR-code voting) for Best Window and Best Streatery, respectively. A special panel of judges each selected a winner for Best In Show, with awards going to Amina Rubinacci, Tory Burch, and Olivia Macaron. Finally, the window that received the most Facebook likes was Pretty Chic. All of the windows can still be viewed on our website. Ten lucky winners who cast a QR-code vote were also selected at random to receive gift cards to Georgetown stores and restaurants. Thanks to all for bringing some much needed cheer and light to Georgetown this holiday season!
