Becoming Ministries desires to encourage and equip women in all aspects of their heart and home. There's power in elevating the ordinay of our everyday life and during our Boards and Blessing workshop, we will learn the skill behind curating a beautiful food board and explore how that can extend to blessing the community around us. We've all seen beautiful boards, but sometimes it can feel overwhelming on how to duplicate that in our homes. In this workshop, you will learn all about how to arrange creatively on a board, including tricks such as salami roses, folding of meats and slicing techniques for cheeses & fruits! Jen Schmidt will brain storm varying board ideas for hosting in your own home, as well as simple tips on how to use your new found skills to take your hospitality on the go and be a blessing. Classes are full-service. They include fun class instruction and encouragement, treats offered at the class, as well the opportunitty to create a disposable board/box (similar to size below) with enough food for 2-3 people, so you can take it home and enjoy that evening. We love supporting female entrepreuners and we are so delighted to partner with Crafted Charcuterie of the Triad for this workshop. Suzanne Powell, a single mom of six children, wanted to create a a new income stream, so together with her highschool daughters launched this new business. What a wonderful way to support their hard work as we learn from them. This workshop will be lots of fun, but our desire is that it it will encourage and equip you with intentional tools to connect with those around you. ***All proceeds from tickets help support Suzanne's new business, as well as make scholarships available through Becoming. Tickets are Non-refundable but may be transferred to another attendee.
