Description

Teens from all over Cabarrus County are welcome to join us as we work together to enact change. Small Group sessions include: meeting with elected officials and learning more about the budget process and how local government works to meet the community needs. We will have a group service project as well! The event ends with a facilitated discussion to help identify teen issues and brainstorm for community solutions to work together to meet these needs. Outcomes from this session will be shared with elected officials at their upcoming Elected Officials Summit.
