We're renting a boat and taking a private cruise--to one of the most gorgeous barrier islands in the Charleston area. And we want you to come with us.
This is always one of the highlights of our NextTribe visits to Charleston.
We'll provide wine--both white and red--and our captain will have non-alcoholic drinks.
We'll cruise from the Isle of Palms Marina up the intracoastal waterway to Capers Island Preserve, a pristine barrier island only reachable by boat just a few miles north of Isle of Palms. Cruising along the waterway with your naturalist guide, you will experience the natural beauty of our surrounding salt marshes and barrier islands, observing wildlife such as bottlenose dolphins and bald eagles.
Upon arriving on Capers, you will have the opportunity to take a short walk and explore Caper’s amazingly unique “bone-yard beach." Or just sit back and relax with a cocktail and enjoy the natural beauty while your chef prepares your feast. Low-country boil (local shrimp, smoked sausage, corn, potatoes, and onions) is a favorite. Enjoy your dinner on the beach as you watch the sunset over the salt marsh in this beautiful natural setting.
Head back to the Isle of Palms Marina at dusk, with new friends and great stories.
Our cruise company is Barrier Island Eco Tours.
