Sweet Freedom Cheese brings the “FUN-do” to any evening, but especially when there's hot melty cheese involved! Our casual on-the-go fondue service includes a house blended mixture of traditional Alpine and melting cheeses. Your heaping serving of melty fondue will be accompanied by local bread from Rockin’ Baker, apples, cornichons (mini gherkin pickles), and topped with prosciutto lardons. Vegetarian and gluten-free options available on request – please contact the event sponsor for dietary restriction requests prior to the event. This is a casual event - come as you are. Our fondue is served in a single-serve compostable bowl (so you absolutely don’t have to share!) and best eaten immediately while hot and gooey, although we're happy to make yours to-go on request. PLEASE NOTE: Previously back in 2020, our Fondue Nights were organized as a reservation-based, restaurant service affair - but starting in 2023 we're trying things a little differently and a lot more laid back. We do now require ticketing, which may be purchased either on Eventbrite, over the phone, or in-store at Sweet Freedom Cheese PRIOR to the event. Your fondue is served immediately after check-in, and you're welcome to enjoy your food inside the South Market, outside to the Vine, or even next door to Bike Rack Brewery. We also have wine and beer by the glass available for additional purchase. As part of the 8th Street Market Outdoor Social District, you can enjoy an adult beverage with your meal anywhere in the district boundaries - indoors or out.
