Description

Inclusive cohousing offers a unique and powerful combination of independence and community. Residents of inclusive cohousing communities live in their own private homes, but also share common spaces and resources such as kitchens, gardens, and workshops. This shared living arrangement promotes a strong sense of community and connection among residents, as well as a reduced environmental impact. Additionally, inclusive cohousing communities are designed to be inclusive and welcoming to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. This diversity enriches the community and creates a more vibrant and dynamic living environment. Furthermore, inclusive cohousing can provide a sense of belonging, mutual support, and mutual help to people who might have difficulty to live independently. Inclusive cohousing can thus be an alternative solution to fight social isolation, and to foster a sense of community among people who may have different needs and abilities. Join us on February 25th for our Bucks/Montgomery County Cohousing Cohort Kickoff to learn more about how you can be a part of this unique and rewarding living experience.
