Do you live on or near the coast? Do you find yourself wondering how to give your garden or yard a little more pizzaz? Join Escambia County, Escambia Extension and Florida Master Gardeners for a series of free workshops focused on landscaping with native species found in the coastal environment. Workshops topics will cover plant selection, landscape design and landscaping with a purpose, i.e. for pollinators or wildlife. Workshops attendees will also receive a small selection of native plants to use in their own landscapes. Many of the techniques and species discussed will do well in a variety of habitats and ecosystems, so attendees do not neccesarily have to live on the coast or barrier islands. Registration is first-come, first serve, and particpants must attend the enire workshop (~1 hour) to recieve plants.
