Rehome a Small Dog

Description

Hello, Great news! I am looking to give a dog or puppy a home!! I have been told so many dogs are being brought in or returned to shelters, so this can be a great alternative if you are unable to keep your pet. I am hoping to get in touch with someone looking to rehome their short hair (mini) Chihuahua, (mini) Dachshund, Chiweenie, Pomeranian, Mini Pinscher, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or English Cocker Spaniel. I love nearly every breed. But because I live in an apartment and am unable to take long walks, I need to make sure it would be a good fit for the both of us. Like that they are housebroken, know how to use wee wee pads and won’t disturb neighbors with barking. That they will stay small under 15lbs fully grown and is any age under 3 years old. I don’t have a preference of male or female. But they have to be well socialized where they can get along with other people and pets (like a dog or cat). Also that they are 100% healthy and don’t have any medical conditions or problematic/aggressive behaviors. A perfect fit personality wise would be an affectionate, low key, calm, cuddling coach potato lapdog that loves to be spoiled with constant attention. Who doesn’t need a lot of exercise, where indoor play time every day with toys is enough to tire them out. As for myself, I have had more experience than most after growing up with multiple dogs and then having worked in the pet care field with every type of dog imaginable. I do live out east on Long Island, so please live in NY and be willing to meet halfway in Queens or Nassau County for the adoption. Do not ask for any deposits, there has been too many scams on here with that. Please realize that this is more about the kind gesture of helping the dog. The quality and quantity of time I can spend with your pet should be more important/valuable than how much a person can selfishly make off of them. But if they are old enough to have already gotten all of their shots and don’t need any more, then I am willing to provide a small rehoming fee of $50-$100 if they are up to date on all their shots and have already been spayed/neutered as well. And btw the rules on here allow dogs to be rehomed with a small adoption fee for those that may think otherwise. Read it for yourself under the guidelines that I am following. So don’t hesitate to contact me to see if it’s a good fit by sending me any pictures, videos and info about your dog. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank You for your time!
