Looking for weirdo music people to hang with

I've been looking for bandmates for such a long time, and I'm really tired of meeting up with strangers and having awkward jam sessions that don't really ever gel into a band situation. What I really want is musically obsessed people like me to hang out with and go to shows and perhaps mess around with songs if it feels right. I play guitar and sing. I guess it's weird to try and find friends on craigslist, especially these days, but this city is so boring now and it seems like everyone works in tech or finance, I'm hoping there are other frustrated people out there who are as into weird/alt music as I am. When I say weird, I mean stuff like: Siouxsie & the Banshees, Can, MBV, Meat Puppets, GbV, Swirlies, Throwing Muses, Thinking Fellers, Sebadoh, Lilys, US Maple, Butthole Surfers, Royal Trux, etc. I'm also a record collector and listen to all kinds of funk and jazz and hip hop and salsa, but post-punk and 90s indie/alt/noise is the formative stuff for me, so yeah. I'm 34 and live in Bushwick. I dunno, if any of this makes sense and you maybe want to meet up or play some music, hit me up.
