Late-20s male/recent college graduate looking to start a band

Description

I am in my late 20s and recently graduated college, and am looking to potentially start a band with like-minded individuals. About myself as a musician: I have been playing guitar for 15 years. I am also a long-time songwriter and singer, and have written a lot of my own material. As far as equipment goes, I play a Les Paul and own a plenty-loud enough amp. Influences are of the utmost importance to me and I 'wear them on my sleeve'--the biggest being: Nirvana (especially 'In Utero'), Elliott Smith, Stone Temple Pilots, Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, and The Rolling Stones. (Not going to lie, 90s rock music is my 'sweet spot'). Ultimately, I am looking for people whose tastes/sensibilities align with mine, and who in turn would be interested in getting together to jam and to perhaps see where it takes us from there. Ideally, I am looking to achieve a sound that is loud, unhinged, raw, rough-around-the-edges, no-bullshit rock and roll, etc. Moreover, I would ideally like to cover lead vocals as well as guitar. But most importantly: I am looking to have fun and to explore/experiment. Again, I have a lot of my own material which could easily be transposed over into a 'band' format, and besides that would love to try and compose original songs in collaboration with others. Hell, I would even love to explore doing covers of songs all the while. I am in no way seeking out solely 'perfect' musicians--more than anything I am seeking out like-minded individuals who share a passion for 90s rock music and who are interested in/open to seeing where things go, all while aiming to have fun along the way. Feel free to reply to this if you are at all interested!
