Block by Block and the University of Akron are seeking an Operations/Security Manager to join our team in to provide daily oversight to an on campus Safety Program. In this role, the manager will lead a small team of Safety Associates that will work to keep the area safe for students and visitors alike. This role will be responsible for coordinating recruitment, training, and deployment of resources. This position also is responsible for interfacing with our client to deliver continual program improvements and manage daily program operations. To be successful in this position, you should have strong managerial skills, a great work ethic, and an understanding of the importance of creating a great campus experience. You should also be a problem solver with a good sense of humor and a willingness to work outside in all weather conditions. Experience in quality assurance, team building, and creating a positive culture is also a plus.
