If you answered yes, we would love to meet you! Elks Aidmore is a therapeutic foster care agency providing community-based services to children, adolescents, and teens in the custody of the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services. Through a range of support services and community partnerships, we use a team approach with our trained and skilled foster parents to provide individual services to children and families in crises. Minimum Foster Parent Requirements: * Must be a US Citizen and able to provide verification * Must be at least 25 years of age * Must pass a Child Protective Services Screen and Criminal Background Check * Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance * Must have a valid Georgia Driver's License * Must have a desire to care for children with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges and also provide children in foster care with a safe, stable, and nurturing family environment. Foster Parent Supports * Up to $1800 monthly to meet the needs of the child * A minimum of $250 clothing allowance per child * Childcare assistance for children under the age of 12 * 2 nights of respite per month for the child in your home * 24 hour on-call services The position is full-time, contract.
