Experienced landscaper looking to learn carpentry during slow months

Are you a landscaper that slows down during the winter months? Do you want to maintain your position as a landscaper but learn carpentry skills so you can maintain full-time, steady employment throughout the year? If so, we want to hear from you. We are looking to expand our construction company by adding experienced landscapers who WANT to learn carpentry. We are looking for someone who will potentially be the landscaping foreman once we expand even more. The benefits of this are: over time carpenters can make up to three times the amount of some landscapers, by expanding your skill set you open yourself up to company raises based on your skill-set level and progress. You will never be slow in the winter months, because when it gets cold you can transition from landscaping to carpentry within the same company ensuring there are never and lapses in your weekly pay as well as increasing your skill level and experience ensuring raises in the future. We are not looking to hire a temporary employee. We are looking for full-time, tear-round employees who are dependable, hard working and team players. All of our employees love coming to work because we encourage positive work environments and employees with positive attitudes. Landscapers MUST have the following experience/qualifications: -minimum 5 years landscaping experience -minimum 5 years experience pulling AND planting large trees/shrubs/bushes -minimum 5 years experience with building retaining walls/stone work knowledge of various plants/shrubs/trees/bushes/weeds/etc Carpentry skill is a plus but not required for this position. We will train the right candidate in carpentry for this position. If you love landscaping but looking to expand your horizons both physically and financially then this is the job for you!
