At Hanover Adventure Tours (HAT), we live and breathe outdoor exploration and enjoyment. We are an adventure center located along the beautiful Connecticut River (4 miles from Dartmouth College and 3.3 miles from the Appalachian trail) that provides e-bicycles, watercraft, and summer & winter adventure equipment rentals. HAT sells and rents over 15 e-bicycle models and stocks one of the largest numbers of new e-bicycles in New England. Our adventure center is a full-service bike store servicing all brands. We provide self-guided and staff guided tours for e-bikes, private coach, snowshoeing, and hiking, as well as educational workshops and, clinics. HAT also supports local community rides and nonprofit rides. The hostel has 28 beds (private and dormitory rooms) with a fully equipped kitchen and common area that provides a communal environment for Appalachian Trail hikers and adventure-seeking visitors to the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. HAT also provides both shuttle and slackpacking services. Our fast-growing team is looking for someone with excellent people skills and the ability to establish great customer relations. This is a full-time position with multitasking requirements that offer live-in accommodations with a private room, shared common area, kitchen, and bathroom. Duties: Manage incoming reservations and check-ins Establishing daily tasks and supervising hostel associates Maintain cleanliness in rooms and common areas Set up continental (self-serve) breakfast Wash linens and organize beds for next day reservations Organizing, coordinating, and conducting daily shuttles Familiarize yourself with local recreational activities to recommend to visiting guests (giving tips, maps, directions, coordinate with staff adventure center). Requirements: Supportive and positive attitude with customers seeking solutions and ability to function as part of a team.
