WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE,  Company: Umamicart Location: Brooklyn (Greenpoint), New York Part time (15-30 hours per week) ABOUT UMAMICART Umamicart is an online Asian grocer, delivering a well-curated selection of Asian groceries directly to customers’ doors. We carry fresh Asian produce, fruits, meats, pantry staples + the newest Asian American food products. ABOUT THE ROLE $15/hour Career progression opportunities Friendly team environment W2 employment Fun, fast paced environment WHAT YOU'LL DO Picking and packing of customer grocery orders Receiving, scanning and stocking incoming grocery shipments Refrigerator and freezer freshness checks Ensure product on warehouse shelves is neat, well-stocked and in the correct location Perform routine check of product expiration dates and write-off expired product Accurate and efficient picking and packing of delivery orders General upkeep of warehouse Other duties as needed Requirements: Be over 18 years old with U.S. work authorization. A friendly and team-oriented Know how to pick the best produce Be able to effectively manage and organize hundreds of SKUs Great organization skills Ability to lift up to 40 pounds 2+ years of food service work experience (preferred) 3+ years of warehouse experience (preferred)
