The job fair is tomorrow. It is tomorrow, Wednesday Feb. 1st from 1pm to 4pm at Industrial Lighting Products, 519 Codisco Way Sanford, FL 32771. You need close toed shoes to come inside the warehouse. Hope to see you there! A material handler is responsible for the distribution of product by using heavy equipment to move materials, pull orders from inventory; deliver production materials and supplies and staging finished product. REQUIREMENTS: • Kits part for Assembly using pick list • Take and comprehend orders for items to be shipped • Locate requested items from storage areas and inspect them for conformity to order type • Determine that pulled items are intact and has no defects, brought on by staying in storage for a period of time • Place items on pallet jack in a safe manner and operate it to transport them to the delivery area • Determine the type of packaging stock items will need and pack them in a safe and orderly manner • Use RF guns to properly scan the stock and be identify the correct location for items in order to reduce them from inventory of finished goods. • Picking ship today order • keep warehouse organized • Communication skills • Operate a fork lift • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments • Able to work different shifts/overtime Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • High energy level with ability to take initiative. • Detailed oriented • Ability to understand and read the English language • Able to work in warehouse environment. • Able to follow directions. • knowledge of operating RF scanners and pallet jacks Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: • HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
