Rehoming Rats

Description

I am rehoming rats that my "male" rat had - unfortunately, my partner and I were under-informed in the process of adopting and were told our now-mama was a male and just went with it. End result - we found out she was a female and tried to get her out of our males' cage as soon as we realized it. However, we now have 14 small, fluffy little potatoes that need loving homes. If we could keep all of them, trust me - we would. They're absolute little delights and we love them dearly, but we know that they can have better, more fulfilling lives with other individuals who love rats just as much as we do! They must go in pairs of two or more - one will be adopted out ONLY if you have a colony of rats. We are asking a small rehoming fee to make sure our little ones go to responsible, happy homes and not to feeders or breeders. We will be asking about your cage set-up/experience with small rodents and about your current colony if you have one. In addition to this post, we will also be asking local pet stores around the area if we can hold an adoption event if Craigslist continues to flag us (we've tried to place this ad for adoptees four times now). Hopefully we can get every little serotonin potato to a nice, safe home to be loved! They are currently 21 days old - they will be old enough to go to their forever homes on February 20, 2023 and will be handled daily until then. Trust me, I will take ANY excuse to hold tiny, fuzzy little rats in my hands, I'm a sucker for a their little noses and excited hops. Right now, they are eating/drinking all kinds of fun new things - yogurt, veggies, those little Gerber stars, bananas, etc. and are LOVING it. I have lots of photos and videos if anyone would like to see :)
