Notre Dame College and the Pophal family are proud to host the 4th Annual Josie Pophal Memorial Dodgeball Tournament! Josie Pophal was a beloved math professor at Notre Dame College and passed away on July 17, 2017. In honor of her devotion to women pursuing STEM degrees, the Pophal family set up a scholarship with Notre Dame College that will provide funds for dedicated female students pursuing degrees in mathematics and engineering. In the past, 4 brilliant young ladies used the proceeds from this tournament to aid their NDC education in either math or engineering. To raise funds for the scholarship, Notre Dame College will be hosting a double elimination dodgeball tournament on SUNDAY, April 2nd from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM in the Murphy Gym which is in the Keller center at Notre Dame College. Registration is $10 per person (plus $2.51 processing fee). All teams must sign a liability and waiver form that will be provided the day of the tournament. Only 6 people per team. If you can't find a team, please let us know and we can help you create one. No previous Dodgeball experience or athletic ability needed!
