Art of Me (www.artofme.org) is a multimedia based nonprofit organization that promotes healthy relationships for young people through an interdisciplinary curricula, media literacy and advocacy. Young people guide our conversations as they share their perspectives through writing, film and art. Annually, Art of Me hosts a story contest. The winning story is made into a movie by accomplished filmmakers and shared with the world. Both stories best answered Art of Me's contest question, "What is Power & Community?" by presenting creative solutions to everyday struggles. The winning story, Time Out is directed by Carl Walton and written by a 7th grader from Harvey Rice Elementary School. The winning story, Stream This! is directed by Kevin Taylor and written by a senior citizens group in Cleveland's Mt. Pleasant community. This is a red carpet event. Dress up, network, eat good food, and enjoy the films. Complimentary valet parking, food and beverages. Where: Cleveland Natural History Museum (Wade Oval) Free valet parking is available. When: Saturday, February 25th. Doors open at 5:30pm. Program starts at 6pm.
