Vinyasa style yoga in a cozy setting of the Central Library conference room. Meets every Tuesday at 6pm. Welcome to a moving meditation among friends, where we offer several levels of modifications for a practice that accommodates you. We offer something for all students whether beginners or intermediate level; or seeking any combination of active exercise, flexibility, or tranquility.
Yoga mats are provided with cleaner, and you are welcome to bring your own mat, yoga belt, towel, or water bottle or any yoga props. Instructors are certified by Yoga Alliance and trained in trauma-sensitive yoga instruction.
Yoga pro tips: Dress comfortably. It is a great idea to hydrate before and after any exercise; there are water fountains and bathrooms near the yoga room. Be easy on your joints and tendons, seeking the graceful space between effort and ease wherein you are able to maintain your breath steadily through each pose. Breath is the first and most important part of yoga :)
