We invite you to join us in making beds for those who have been impacted in the Almeda Fire as part of our Rise Up & Rebuild program. This will also be a supportive and fun learning environment for you to develop basic carpentry skills and more confidence with wood shop tools.
You will learn how to accurately cut and assemble pieces. You’ll use multiple tools for this one (table saw, band saw, miter saw, cordless drills) and be well on your way to other cool projects.
This workshop is limited to 6 makers
Ages: 18+
Instructor: Katie Buttermore
Cost includes all materials, space, and instruction | Finished beds will be donated to the community.
To help offset the cost of the workshop, full and partial scholarships are available for those impacted by the Almeda Fire. Reach out to [email protected] for more information.
