The SAFDF steering committee invites you to join us for the 65th annual SAFDF — the beloved tradition of international folk dance teaching, music, parties, and camaraderie!
This year we are hosting an in-person festival in our traditional dance space — the Multicultural Activities and Recreation Center (MARC) on the campus of the beautiful Our Lady of the Lake University. We will also broadcast our parties on Zoom.
Entire festival admission, including all teaching sessions and parties:
$150 if you register on or before March 10
$200 if you register after March 10

2023 Dance teachers:
Ventzi Sotirov, teaching Bulgarian dances
Fusae Carroll, teaching the Macedonian dances of Atanas Kolarovski
Andy Taylor-Blenis, teaching international dances and leading her famous dance stretches
Special guest: Seneca Patino, teaching Samba at the Friday-night party
Dance parties with live music and a dance performance of the Csárdás Hungarian Dancers -- all broadcast on Zoom
Free public folk-dance performances, with ethnic craft and food vendors, at San Antonio, Texas, Rolling Oaks Mall (March 25 and 26, noon to 5 pm)
