Please join us Wednesday March 1st for lunch and a presentation at La Costa Mariscos Fine Mexican Food at their downtown location on Chester Ave. Networking starts at 11:30am and buffet style enchiladas and fajitas will be served at noon with the presentation beginning shortly thereafter. Tickets can be purchased here on Eventbrite or at the door. This events speaker will be Don Damschen of Bio World USA. Bio World USA serves a variety of industries with a diverse product line. More information on Bio World USA can be found here: Bioworldusa.com Don will be focusing this events discussion on bioremediation technologies used to clean up hydrocarbons in oil spills and similar settings. Don is uniquely qualified to present on this topic with over 30 years of experience in the environmental industry. Over the years he has worked on projects that have included acid rain chemistry, air quality compliance, environmental assessments for real estate transfers, and soil and ground water contamination. His current work involves the application of biotechnology and project management for environmental cleanups, septic and wastewater treatment, odor control, natural algae elimination, soil improvement and plant nutrition. Mr. Damschen received his BS degree in chemistry from the University of Redlands, Redlands, California in 1976 and his MS degree in chemistry from the University of California, Riverside, in 1978.
