Malcolm X Grassroots Movement-Detroit and Friends sponsor the showing of "Dope Is Death," a film about the struggles of Dr. Mutulu Shakur, along with the Black Panther Party and the Young Lords, learning and providing acupuncture healing for substance abusers. Dr. Shakur who was recently released from prison after 36 years of unjust incarceration will speak to the audience via Zoom after the film.
