Supervise and coordinate the activities of the crew by communicating with Asphalt Project Manager to ensure responsible work and safety. Foreman will supervise and help coordinate the activities of their crew(s). The Asphalt Foreman will help schedule work with the assistance of the asphalt project manager. The Foreman must communicate with the crew and project manager on what equipment and material is needed. The Asphalt Foreman will help monitor crew(s) to ensure the quality of work meets the standards of Advanced Striping, Inc, and the needs of the customer. Foreman will help ensure the crew is working safely and responsibly. Must have a valid driver's license with no major infractions in the last 3 years. Responsibilities: Positive attitude and ability to encourage co-workers Jobsite cleaning, operating equipment and its maintenance Proactively lead and coach crew Interact with customers clearly and professionally Collaborate with Asphalt Project Manager regarding daily/weekly schedule and needs Practice all safety procedures and adhering to ASI policies Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals and other similar documents Daily job reports Identify and solve common construction setting obstacles Track material usage Position Requirements: Must have experience with asphalt paving Must have prior experience managing one or more crews 18 years of age Stand and move for 8+ hours Walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch without difficulty Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs Valid driver’s license absence of major infractions over the prior 3 years.
