Assembly & Warehouse Hand Nav Tech Inc. is looking to hire an ambitious Assembler & Warehouse Worker with the desire to learn additional skills or tools and have a diverse role in a fast-paced metal shop environment. As a company, Nav Tech creates Transformer metering cabinets, CT cabinets and trough. What you will be responsible for Under general supervision: Assist in assembly of metal detail bars Assemble bus bars and side bars for various CT cabinets Assist in CT cabinet and Metering cabinet assembly Perform related work such as: Drilling holes in custom enclosures Help moving completed units to staging area Keep Count of inventory and alert purchasing for items low on stock Organize and stock shelves Receiving Utilize standard shop hand tools, measuring devices and equipment. Assist with fabrication of enclosure structures where needed Perform other maintenance related work as required. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards. Qualifications Experience using powered tools including but not limited to Impact Gun, Impact Driver, Drill, Rivet Gun, Knowledge of safety procedures and practices necessary while operating Skill in operating hand tools, Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to operate a forklift Preferred Experience in Shipping & Receiving Basic Computer Skills Contact: Jake 718-257-2111
