Duties AND Responsibilities: MUST HAVE A CURRENT FORKLIFT (SITDOWN) CERTIFICATION If you do not have a current forklift certification, you are automatically disqualified. You must have 5 years forklift experience. Must have experience loading, unloading, and moving very heavy material with a sitdown forklift. SHIFT: Monday thru Thursday from 5 AM to 3:30 PM (four 10 hour shifts) Determines method of shipment. Prepares bills, invoices, and other shipping documents. Responsible for comparing bills of lading against actual merchandise received. Inspect for damaged goods. Distribute merchandise/materials to the correct departments. Perform all loading and unloading tasks. Ensures area is secure at all times. Shipping and Receiving Qualifications/Skills: Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock Receiving, stocking, and stacking Pulling, packing, and loading Good written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team
