Job Summary We are looking for a Box Truck Driver/TEAM to join our company. You must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, A commercial driver’s license is not required for this position But does help. Your job duties will involve, operating a 26ft box truck, arriving on time if not early to pick ups and drop offs, occasionally loading and unloading to avoid damages(will be compensated). Lift-gate and forklift experience is a plus. You have to be ok with staying in paid for hotels and being away from your family. Our clients expect their goods to arrive within a specific time frame, so you must be able to work independently and manage your time well. Duties and Responsibilities Drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route and schedule Deliver or pick up items as instructed Load and unload vehicle as necessary Document deliveries or log other shipment information Follow DOT regulations Requirements and Qualifications Valid driver's license At least 21 years old Excellent communication skills Trucking or warehouse experience a plus. Box truck drivers are responsible for transporting large quantities of goods from one location to another. They spend their days on the road, driving from one warehouse or distribution center to another while ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for at all times. Box truck drivers must be able to multitask effectively in order to ensure a smooth delivery process.
