Description We are an owner-manager of 75 different market-rate apartment communities in the Greater New Orleans area and we have been in business for over 50 years. When you work for an owner-manager, you never have to worry about the property where you work being sold! We currently have an opening for an experienced general Maintenance Technician to complete service requests and prepare apartment make-readies. The person we are looking for will be highly skilled technician and a team player. The ideal candidates will have a background in property maintenance. Qualifications The individual joining our Team should have the following: Experience with repairs in electrical, plumbing and appliances Tools and reliable transportation A valid driver's license (required for some positions) Some grounds maintenance duties may also be required depending upon the needs of the community What you will do as a Maintenance Technician on our Team: Provide our residents with electrical, plumbing and appliance repair services in a friendly, courteous and expedient manner Prepare vacant apartments for new residents move-ins Complete required paperwork such as inventory logs, service tickets and daily recap sheets What You Will Receive as a member of our Team: $500 Sign on bonus $20.00/hour to start for this position.
